I grew up just outside of Durham, NC as a self-proclaimed “distracted kid” – often finding myself in trouble for sketching in class.

While initially interested in graphic design and photography when entering college, my path led me to higher ed. I’ve planned concerts, managed an outdoor adventure program, chaperoned international service trips, and done everything in between. Now I use my passion for all things creative as I work with student designers, photographers, and videographers at Duke University. For almost two decades, I’ve been able to mentor and learn from amazingly talented students. Today, I am able to harness the same energy initially deemed “distracting” as a child into creative, whimsical output.

Beyond Duke, I am a freelance photographer, designer, illustrator, and print maker. Contact me if you’re interested in my work or check out my Etsy store.
